Great design has no expiration date. I aim to show patrons how antiques can inject soul, character, and sustainable luxury into contemporary living spaces and how juxtaposing new and old in interior decor can build a rich composition full of depth and complexity.

I am keenly aware of the history and value of the pieces that I select but, ultimately, I curate art and antiques based on color, silhouette, and emotional resonance rather than strict pedigree. Every item I source is chosen because it possesses a distinct personality. I want to help my clients find that one-of-a-kind piece of art that makes their space feel entirely personal, deeply nostalgic, and a little bit magical.

I view myself as not just a dealer, but as a temporary custodian of material history. I enjoy the search for beautiful and interesting objects as much as I enjoy helping patrons select perfect pieces for their home or business - or for the perfect gift. My hope is that these will become treasured heirlooms that will be preserved and enjoyed by future generations.

Elin and Erlie is more than just a name; it’s a legacy. The company is named in honor of two of my great-grandmothers, Elin and Erlie—two women who, in their own distinct ways, embodied the art of living with intention and fearlessness. Elin, at the age of 17, left her home in Sweden for a land full of promise. She embraced the new country, took risks as an entrepreneur, and didn't look back. Erlie worked hard to preserve family traditions; photos, recipes, and practical knowledge was lovingly handed down. Both women had courage and strength and left a lasting impression on future generations in their own ways.

It is their combined spirit that forms the foundation of this company.
